HEATHER COTTON

- Community/Networking Coordinator

Heather Cotton is a foundation member of the Trust and former Chair of the national board.  She is a graduate of Victoria University Wellington where she earned a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Political Science.

A qualified BLS (Ambulance) First-Responder, Heather also has a Diploma in Exercise Science from Massey University.  Heather currently works as a property advisor in the local government sector.  She recently co-authored a research report examining networks amongst medical providers and community.

Responsibilities within the Trust:

  Building and maintaining key relationships

  Growing the number of affiliate resilience trusts

  Identifying strategies for community sustainability
