Reginald McLean (Chair)
Reg is actively involved in community, works in the legal
field, and is a member of the Newlands Paparangi Progressive
Association.
Bruce Patterson (Secretary)
Bruce
Patterson has been a resident of Grenada Village or Paparangi since
1973.
For more than 20 years, his
involvement and contribution to community activities has been extensive
and widespread.
In addition to being a
Trustee of the North Wellington Resilience Trust, Bruce is Chair of the
Grenada Village Community Association (since 1993), the Chair of the
Combined Northern Wellington Residents’ Associations and the Chair of
the Seton Nossiter Park Working Group. He is also a member of the
management committees of the Federation of Wellington Residents &
Progressive Associations, the Wellington North Community Patrols, the
Newlands Community Centre Liaison Group, and the Northern Wellington
Festival Committee.
In 2002, Bruce received the
North Wellington Community Volunteer Services Award and in 2004 became
an Honorary Member of the Newlands Volunteer Fire Brigade.
Bruce is the author of “The
Belmont Viaduct”, a booklet published in 1996 by the Onslow Historical
Society.
Bruce is the General
Manager of a NZ wool-buying and exporting company.
Jim Candiliotis (Treasurer)
Jim is a well-known and well-respected advocate for
Newlands and the Northern Ward of Wellington City. He is Secretary and a
former President of the Newlands Paparangi Progressive Association.
