Projects that the Trust undertake are always multi-dimensional.

By "multi-dimensional" we mean that there is always a deeper purpose to each project.

Affiliate Trusts are able to use our projects as templates for their own, local, projects.  Having a tangible local project is one of the few things the NZRT insists communities undertake when they form a resilience trust.  However the local community decides what that project should be.  It becomes the role of the national trust to help with the implementation.

Future projects include the provision of emergency medical training, provision of RAPID for Civil Defence organisations, developing capacity for community response teams, and community-based research.

The Trust is also seeking to work alongside Maori and ethnic groups, to help us enhance our knowledge and cultural understanding.
